A powerful and energetic form of postural yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. Ideally to strengthen your overall body, increase flexibility and mobility while building cardiovascular endurance and stamina. Modifications are always instructed to accomodate to all practice levels. Expect to move and sweat!
Creative Hatha
A slower and more grounded style of yoga where students spend more time holding each posture. More time is spent on alignment and safety techniques within each pose, strengthening your body and increasing flexibility. Class is for all levels but beginners can find this practice more accessible due to the slower transitions and longer holds.
Yin Yoga
A very slow-paced style of postural yoga in which postures are held for a longer time with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. All postures are practiced laying down or in a seated position and you will use lots of props to maximize the physical and mental benefits of each posture. A very meditative approach to postural yoga, which creates a lot of awareness of inner silience! Accessible to all levels of practice.
Meditation and Yoga Nidra
Enjoy a guided meditation while you are in a comfortable seated or reclined position, which will help you relax your body from the inside out. Yoga Nidra is also known as "Yoga of Sleep" and it relaxes your nervous system and helps relieve stress. You will become aware of your breath and your body by following a set of verbal instructions. Accessible to all levels of practice and ideal for students who need to unwind and relax!
